If you are insured with Bupa UK or Bupa International and wish to book an initial appointment with our Bupa UK & Bupa International physios, follow these simple steps before calling Mummy’s Physio:

Call your Bupa UK or Bupa International UK health insurance provider and let them know you need to book an appointment with us by giving them:

Our company name: Excellence Physiotherapy

And our registration number: 80010982 for Bupa UK & 429255 for Bupa International

You will have to ask the following to your insurance:

  • Your Bupa membership number
  • Your Bupa claim number
  • The number of sessions they allow you to have: this amount of sessions will be linked to your Bupa claim number. You will need to provide it to us in order to keep track because if you reach the limit of sessions, further ones will be at your charge. However, if you reach the limit but still need to keep receiving physio treatment ask our physiotherapist to write a report to Bupa for additional sessions.
  • The excess in you policy with Bupa: don’t forget to ask if you have any excess to pay in your contract with your Bupa UK or Bupa International health insurance. If you do, you will have to let us as you will pay this excess with our clinic once it is due. To prevent from any hassle of this excess payment, it is possible to set up an automatic debit system, our secure and easy Bupa payment program.
  • Home visits authorisation: if you wish to be covered for Bupa UK or Bupa International sessions at your place, please make sure to check that Bupa agrees to cover home visits, as it is not automatic. If they do, a special authorisation claim number will be given to you and only for London zones 1 and 2. If you live outside these zones, or if you wish to have home visits even without having been authorised for sessions at your place, travel fees will apply.
